Voodoo fest looks unbelievable this year! I cant wait... New Orleans is a great city for music every day of the week, every week of the year, but this year-- the week before Halloween, kicking off with Voodoo Fest and ending on Sat. Nov 1st-- is full of such a variety of truly talented, fun and exciting performers.. I'm psyched! If you live in New Orleans already, or are extending your stay down there after the fest... Widespread Panic is playing Halloween and on Saturday at UNO. It's sure to be a great show. And there's some really cool post-show parties to attend if you just don't want to call it quits! keep it all going! Check 'em out and I'll see you at Voodoo!!!!!!

Chris Chew (N. Mississippi Allstars) is playing Tipitina's Uptown on Saturday nite. Giving that serious consideration, but don't have any details at the moment. Guess I should get my butt in gear and check it out. I'm hoping he will make a guest appearance at the fest. Last year there were some unannounced shows around town, like Spoon (2 AM). Didn't make any of those. Only there Thurs AM - Mon AM, will miss all the shows you listed.
