Go to the official festie site, extas, contacts and press contacts.....you can email the press contact and ask for a press/media pass form. Like you said, it's worth a shot! The girl that sent me my confirmation was Kristi Warmbier <kristiw@msopr.com>. You'll have to be on assignment for a paper/webzine/station though, they don't let freelancers have passes (like roo)......I can upload the form they will have you fill out if you like.....

Ah hah! Found it. No freelancers eh? Boo. I don't think the Murfreesboro Pulse would be interested in covering something as far away as Voodoo Music Fest; the Echo Project was a bit of a stretch and its just a few hours away. Not a big deal. I wasn't counting on bringing it anyway. We should trade pics though after voodoo! I've got some good ones from Bonnaroo this year  |

I was trying to think of a way to trade out the wristbands - LOL! Since I am pretty sure that the press pass and the photo pass are two seperate things.....if the bands weren't the type that were so impossible to remove I'd let you have the photo band for all the time EXCEPT the bands I really wanted photos of and needed to get into the pits for.....then you could pretty much carry your camera around with you all the time! We might have to brainstorm on that one..... |

I know....it was so long ago I had given up! I even told Alyroo this weekend that I hadn't gotten a press pass to VooDoo - maybe that was the charm - LOL! Aww, you guys will be at the front with me in spirit... ;D And it's only for the first three songs....  But hey, it's the first three songs with no one blocking the view!  |
