This is my first time at Voodoo. I don't know what stages produce the intimate shows, or how anythings work. I'm just basing my top ten choices on music and seeing them in N.O. alone...
Anyone answer and schedule questions?? whens that come out? How late? How early? Many conflicts?
My Top Ten
1. Rage Wilco Kings of Leon Ben Harper La Coka Nostra With House of Pain and Everlast (WHAT!!) Galactic Dr. John Earl GreyHound Sthingy = Sp o o N Smashing Pumpkins
How out you?

I think they said last year the schedule came out in Sept. Here's to hoping they will release it earlier this year! Well, Rage could be my whole top 10! ;D If I didn't see anyone else I'd leave more than happy!! But since I have the whole weekend and there are SOOOO many other good bands I am so not going to pass up good music!! So here are some other bands I am really looking forward to checking out: 1 RAGE!! 2 Dr John 3 Mute Math (blew me away at Bonnaroo!) 4 Ben Harper 5 Smashing Pumpkins 6 Porcupine Tree 7 Preservation Hall Jazz Band (these guys will be at BSJ in HSV in Sept too!) 8 The Black Crowes 9 Galactic 10 Clap Your Hands Say Yeah

Well, even though I don't have them on my Ipod at the moment, I will cop to having a couple of Fall Out Boy songs in my ITunes library...yeah I know - totally cheesey pop....but everyone needs a few mindless hooky songs to just work out to ya know? I always said EVERYONE that recorded more than two records would have at least one song I liked....I wasn't exaggerating!

1. Dr. John 2. Toots & the Maytals Ben Harper Wilco Pumpkins Sinead O'Connor Clap Your Hands Spoon KOL 10. Someone I'm not familiar with that will melt my face!
Sorry, but RATM isn't on the list. No that I won't see them, just didn't make the cut. (Maybe they will be #10....)

Ah yes... nothing does wonders quite like a little "Killing in the Name" blaring out of a pair of speakers pressed up against your unit wall, cranked up to 11.
