OK - we all know New Orleans is known for it's night life
Who all has been? Favorite restaurant? Favorite find?
Boz and have been to NOLA lots (being only 3 hours away) He asked me to marry him while we were in NOLA for a Little Feat concert.
I love NOLA
Restaurants:
Cafe Du Monde (that is kind of a no brainer) Desire Oyster Bar (have to make by there at least once) A little restaurant off of Bourbon - I never can remember where - always have to go hunt for it - has the BEST alligator sausage I have ever tasted)

I Love NOLA! Have been many times, had friends and relatives that lived there until Katrina oh well, at least they survived.... Favorite restaurant....man, just one??? Dragos in Metarie is awesome, but that's not in NOLA proper.... Felix's Oyster Bar in the Quarter or Irenes....hard call..... Best Find.....hmm....Mothers is awesome but I think everyone knows about it by now... French Fry Po Boys - YUM! If you have never had one - try one while you are down there! The muff at Napoleon House - one of the few places they serve it hot..... A half and half just about anyplace!

We will absolutley be hitting up the brunch at Two Sisters before watching a few shows on Sunday and then heading back to Jackson.
I am sure we will miss an awesome Sunday evening show or two but real life will be calling at about 6 p.m. Sunday evening

Hookah cafe is a great place to go on Frenchman. You can get many different flavors of shisha to smoke there, they take care of everything for you, plus they have a fair selection of beers as well. Really laid back, and if you go on the right night they have belly dancers and things of that nature. Frenchman St. has a lot of great bars around there. Snug Harbor is a wonderful jazz club on Frenchman. If you want to hear some real, authentic New Orleans Jazz music, go to Snug Harbor.

I'm betting the Haunting's Tours will be really popular that time of year too!

^^^ I don't see me doing one either. I had a friend that did one a couple of years ago when we went down, the rest of our group opted to just hang in the Quarter....she was creeping us out with some of the stories....we avoided a lot of the places she visited on her "tour" for the rest of the trip.....of course I'm the one that doesn't even watch horror movies for fear of having nightmares for weeks....

The Anne Rice vampire tours are a fun bit of cheese. The tour guides point out all the places she mentions in the books as well as show her real house and other properties.

^^Never taken the tour, but I have seen her house....very nice, in the Garden District. Heard she doesn't live there anymore, but that her son did for a while...don't know that he does anymore....
